10.23.05 (8:12 pm) [edit]
Waycross is at the heart of Ware County, Georgia. It is a small town with extraordinary appeal. Waycross lies at the intersection of major highways and there are three airport runways in Waycross. The medical professionals serving in Waycross and Ware County are exceptional and have been providing extraordinary medical care. This is referred to as the “land of the trembling earth” at the edge of the Great Okefenokee Swamp. An ad from The Phoenix Hotel, Waycross, Georgia reads “Hospitality You Will Long Remember”. It was situated in the heart of Waycross with a modern day coffee shop in the traditional Southern Style. The Railroad Depot was very close.
Phoenix Hotel Waycross hotel was built in Victorian style, covering 56,215 square feet. There were 100 modern hotel rooms and the offices were added later. There was a time when the “tea Dances’ were popular following the afternoon football games. The Phoenix Hotel served Waycross till the time there was a passenger railroad service. Now, Phoenix hotel Waycross stands as the vacant reminder of the bygone days, long past. There is one interesting piece of information. The water furnished across Waycross has been found to be pure and healthy. It contains the dissolved solids normally found in the artesian waters of Southern Georgia according to the chemical analysis conducted by the State Chemist White in the year 1893.

Phoenix Arizona court house
08.29.05 (9:01 pm) [edit]
Court Houses are places that generate immense interest among people. When there is a sensational case, the media and people look at the courts for the verdict because the verdict will create ripples all over the world. Phoenix Arizona court house is one such place. The Sandra Day O’Connor Federal Courthouse, Phoenix is the winner of the 2000 Design Architecture Award winner. It is an example of the federal government’s part in coming up with a destination building for people. This Phoenix, Arizona courthouse is owned by the General Services Administration, which has a multifaceted role as the government’s landlord and supervisor of the budget on behalf of the tax payers. The working Hours of the Courthouse are 8am to 5.30pm and the Clerk’s Office Hours are from 8.30am to 5pm. One interesting aspect is that there is no parking for public available at the courthouse. Limited parking is available across the street. Private parking lots and garages are available on hourly/daily rental basis. The project to come up with a new building was mooted in 1993. Though the present site is located at the edge of the downtown, the move was expected to spur growth in that area. Since the courts came up in 1959, the population had grown five times and pending case load has gone up. Thus the campaign for new Phoenix, Arizona courthouse started and led to the construction of the new building

Booking Phoenix Hotels when traveling on a budget
03.22.05 (10:12 pm) [edit]
To visit Phoenix is to visit a city that is as old as American history, which usually begins with the Spaniards. Here was their first settlement in strength as they struggled to conquer the native Indians with mostly disastrous results. From those beginnings, as the Spaniards gained ascendancy, and disappeared into the pages of history, Phoenix rose from the ashes and today is America’s sixth largest city. And befitting its stature and reputation as a great city, Phoenix offers a lot to the traveler. Malls, hotels, the Grand Canyon tours, live entertainment from great names in music, opera, and movies. Staying at a good Phoenix hotel could be hard on the purse of a budget traveler. People are friendly and go to great lengths to look after you.
Some budget and medium Phoenix hotels are Day’s Inn at the Phoenix Airport, La Quinta Inn Phoenix - Thomas Road, Sleep Inn Hotel Phoenix Airport, La Quinta Inn Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Comfort Inn- Phoenix, Best Western Papago Inn, Hospitality Suites Resort. For those not constrained by a budget, the Arizona Biltmore resort and Spa and Resort Suites of Scottsdale are inviting and well recommended. Most of Phoenix hotels are located near the city and are convenient to plan day trips in around the city. It is recommended that you book your Phoenix hotel early and avail discount prices. Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa is a major attraction of Phoenix and is popularly known as “The Jewel of the Desert”.
